Late Tax Filers Alert! Post Office Hours April 15

Many suburban post offices will close at normal times on April 15. You must have your taxes mailed by closing time or the last posted collection time on free standing mailboxes to get the "before midnight" stamp on your envelopes.The downtown Chicago Post Office will accept returns until midnight along Canal Street at Harrison. Service windows will be open all night at the Main Post Office at 433 W. Harrison for those needing Certified Mail, Delivery Confirmation and Signature Confirmation services.
