Are You a Lazy Searcher?

When you search the internet, do you enjoy getting dozens of bad results and filtering through crazy web sites before finding the credible research you need?  Do you want internet research to be as easy as possible? Do you always go to Google first?  Do you want to search where you will only find articles written by credible authors from reliable sources? If so, you should go to the Glenview Public Library's electronic resources web page and use the library's web page. Library online research will save you time and give you better results with less effort.  It's easy and all you need is a library card.

Your library is more than books on the shelf. Today the public library web site provides access to eBooks, eJournals, newspapers, magazines and article indexes from any online device 24/7.  We can offer you access to thousands of online publications free for the asking, clickable, keyword searchable, and in full text. Download an article, print it or email it to yourself.  Log in with your library card bar code number to search Academic Search Premier, Gale Virtual Reference Center or one of dozens of online research databases we offer to library members.

If you like working harder at research keep using Google as your online search engine. If you are lazy and want to be more efficient with search results that are factual, reliable and up to date, use your library's research web pages.
